Andie Summerkiss

My name is Jun Helmey, known as Andie Summerkiss. I have lived most of my life in Indonesia. And a couple of other places. Now I am dragged down to Legaspi City, Albay Province of the Philippines by Mr. Andie. 

When he is working on his share for the humanity, I am working on my share of blemishing the blogsphere. I have been blogging since October 2007 and during those times I have met a lot of other bloggers who have inspired me deeply, some in a good way, some not so much. 

This was a blog where I posted all my nonsense life details. After some thought, I will keep my life details to myself - maybe a conventional life diary - and write more on topics that interest me, social responsibility, trends, lifestyle, pop culture, art, books and movies. 

In my past lives, I had been a secretary, stock broker, stock underwriter, fund manager, banker, bakery owner, promotion manager and entrepreneur. All the roles have thought me valuable lessons in life, and I can say that even I don’t excel in each and every one, but I took the best out of them. 

I have fallen in love with this type of online publishing that I write on two other blogs, one of which is Indonesian Expat Forum with Anita McKay.

PS. The concept of freedom of speech in blogsphere has been taken for granted by some. We have been so careless in expressing our voice that sometimes we say things that is not cool. Here in this blog, I encourage constructive criticism, brainstorming for ideas, and interactive discussion. I still retain control on the content of comments I will or will not publish.
